Allergies
are the manifestation of a disorderly response of the immune
system to environmental allergens or to foods.
Allergies
cause a cascade of “inflammatory responses" from
histamine to cytokines that are very damaging to the entire
body.
These
substances also lower our immune response and therefore open
the door to infections, especially those of the upper
respiratory tract. Allergies
are very debilitating and are very often the cause of
insomnia, creating the vicious cycle of fatigue, which
increases the allergic response.
When
dealing with allergies it is most important to ascertain the
source.
A
physician that is an expert in the field can determine whether
the allergens are environmental, dietary, or both.
Very often, in fact, it is the combination
of both that makes a person very ill.
A
person who is prone to seasonal
environmental allergies
and has food allergies will have a magnified response to
either source of allergy.
I
recommend to deal with food allergy first and do a thorough
bowel healing program which reduces the intensity of the
allergic response to both sources
Since
the immune system can less well regulate its response in the
presence of toxicity, dealing with this component often brings
things into some order.
Toxic
metals and other toxic substances such as petro-chemical
residues, pesticides and toxic home products all enter into
the mechanism by which the body over responds to irritants
.This process is what occurs in allergies.
The
allergic response is magnified by poor sleeping patterns.
Dealing
with the many causes of it, including hormonal imbalance both
in men and women it is necessary.
Disorderly
lifestyle and poor eating habits also facilitate the
expression of the allergic response.
When
all these factors are brought under control, the immune-system
finds its way to defend its self from any unwanted condition
and patients no longer need to go for allergy desensitization
shots.
Over
the years my experience has been that those patients, in which
we did a total detoxification and whose immune responses were
properly balanced, had less frequent occurrence of allergies
and needed much less conventional and non-conventional
interventions (allergy desensitization).
Toxic metals also enter into the complex reasons for the
increase in allergies.
The
EPA has raised the concern about heavy metal toxicity in this
country by stating that "100%
of the population studied has heavy metal toxicity".
This
is a very alarming statement since we know that toxic metals
impair the function of the immune-system and of every
biological system.
They
strangle the energy production right at the mitochondria
level. (The body’s factory
of energy) Since
it is the cellular energy production that fuels the immune
system and all our biological functions, impairment of this
centrally vital mechanism has greater repercussions that any
body can imagine , including increase in cancer.
It
is no wonder that we have a cancer epidemic in this country as
well as everywhere in the Western World where toxic metals
have progressively become more part of the daily
environment.
The
five most toxic trace metals found in the same subject were Lead,
Mercury, cadmium, beryllium and antimony.
These
metals are suspected to be responsible in at least 50% of
death in the
United States
and many more disabling diseases. What has the Health
Department and the Medical Community done about that?
They have done something - they continued to persecute the
doctors that understand this metal and toxicity and do
Chelation Therapy early intervention to reduce this toxic
load. One cannot help but wonder about the
appropriateness of such persecution in view of the alarming
statements that come straight from the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA).
These
findings go all the way back to 1986.
