We are told that the 21st Century, the age of Aquarius, is predominantly the age of female energy. This female energy is not solely the domain of women but also of men who are willing to acknowledge the importance of intuitive energy in the process of life.

Our Century requires high survival skills and sophistication that can only be obtained by women who don’t abuse their male energy and men who are not afraid to acknowledge and honor their intuitive female capacity.

Male energy is above all a left brain cognitive affair while female energy is the right brain intuitive attribute. Reciprocal respect and utilization of the two hemispheres’ attributes makes possible to overcome social and physical ailments.

In a cosmic sense right brain intuitive knowledge is associated with Eastern thinking processes while analytical evaluations are associated with strictly Western mentality.

The marriage of the two brings about formidable interventions that can be utilized in any human condition but most noticeably in the treatment of the overwhelming number of degenerative diseases that characterize the pathology of our century.

Proper integration of the two cerebral constructs requires a great deal of respect for each other that allows the best utilization of the most appropriate system for any given situation. Even within the same illness things might change from time to time to require a different approach. For instance a rheumatoid arthritis patient might develop a severe infection that requires utilization of antibiotics. In our integrative approach we would however combine this with adequate amounts of probiotics to avoid overgrowth of yeast and further immunsuppression. We might also utilize energy interventions to improve the biochemical balance.

In my book, The Ageless Woman, I emphasize the fact that wellness can only take place when the three templates; energy, biochemistry and soma are in harmony with each other. The energy template is the guiding template. If this important but subtle aspect of our physiology is out of balance, interventions on the chemical and somatic level can obtain at best limited results. Many failures of conventional medicine are due to lack of understanding of this fact.

Conventional medicine’s main concern is in fact suppression of symptoms. This only leads to further disregulation of the biological systems.

We have reached an impasse in medicine not different that what historically has occurred during social or religious revolutions. The non functional system still in power, seldom if ever allows evolution and peaceful incorporation of new and more viable ideas, even on the face of what appears to be obvious to the enlightened.

In our understanding the stress response hold a central role in the pathophysiology processes of all degenerative diseases. I remember a dramatic episode that took place 20 years ago. A patient of mine a beautiful and accomplished pianist had an altercation with her boyfriend who was somewhat abusive, went to bed seemingly well and woke up the fallowing morning with her beautiful face covered by acne.

As we will see throughout this presentation, stress can cause serious endocrinological, hormonal and immunsuppression phenomena.

In the case of the young pianist the shock of her boyfriend’s rejection expressed itself in the feature he seemingly loved the most, her face.

On a different level, the brain and the skin come from the same embryological tissue; the ectoderme. Neuropsychological disturbances can therefore more easily express themselves in this organ.

Conventional medicine, while it makes use of some energetic tools such as the widely used MRI, scorns other, so called, less “scientific” and less costly tools such as applied kinesiology or radionics and of course the intuitive power of psychic healers. The astounding studies on the value of prayer publicized by Dr Larry Dossey, a respected psychiatrist and writer, should forewarn the misbeliever that the energy template taps into the universal healing energy of the first and best healer of all, God.

The energy template vibrates at a very high speed and can only be evaluated by energetic instruments or by the healers.

The biochemical template vibrates at a slower frequency and can be measured by conventional medical tools such as blood tests, urinalysis, etc.  Disturbances in the energetic template create measurable energy fields such as the ones seen by conventional EKG and EEG.

The physical template is the densest of the three and it is in this template that illnesses manifest. However, such as is the case with cancer, it would be much easier and much more successful to treat patients in the stage of energetic imbalance that it is ,once the illness manifests on the physical level.

MAINSTREAM MEDICINE IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN USA, ACCORDING TO bio-statisticians.

A definitive review and close reading of medical peer-review journals and government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently causes more harm than good.  In 1995 Dr. Richard Besser of CDC said that the number of people having hospital adverse drug reactions (ADR ) mounted to a 2.2 million.

He states that the number of unnecessary antibiotics is up to tens of million.

The number of unnecessary medical and surgical procedures performed annually is 7.5 million. The number of people exposed to unnecessary hospitalization annually is 8.9 million.  The total number of iatrogenic deaths shown in his table is a staggering 783,936. This makes the main stream medical system the leading cause of death and injury in the United States.

The 2001 heart disease annual death rate was 699,697; the annual cancer death rate, 553,251.

Health Care expenditure in the US has reached 14% of the Gross National Product (GNP) a staggering $1.6 trillion in 2003 and this number keeps on claiming.

With such a record of inefficiency and such an unbelievable death rate one must conclude that the current medial system is in need of profound retooling.

It would appear more urgent to investigate the rationale, efficacy and cost effectiveness of pharmaceutical medicine than to legislate restrictive rules for supplements and non invasive medical modalities.

Illnesses begin at the hypothalamic level

Any unwelcoming stimulus such as emotional stress, toxic substances or serious infections stimulates the hypothalamus to produce cortical releasing hormone (CRH), which travels to the pons, a posterior brain structure, which produces large amounts of norepinephrine (NE). The NE in turn keeps on stimulating the locus ceruleus to keep on producing CRH.

This feedback mechanism is responsible for the “fight or flight “physiological manifestations. If not properly modulated, the fight or flight will lead to the exhaustion phase of the general adaptation syndrome (GAS).

It is in this phase that the somatic manifestations of most illnesses take place.

One of the most overwhelming somatic manifestations of stress is suspension of digestive processes. The reduction of hydrochloric acid will lead not only to maldigestion, but putrefaction. This condition in turn leads to inflammatory processes of the intestines with overgrowth of pathological forms such as Candida Albicans (dysbiosis). These conditions lead to malabsorption of the nutrients necessary to do the repair work of our immune system and other vital structures of the body.

The Krebs cycle (the energy factory within the mitochondria of every cell) becomes unable to produce the necessary amount of adeno triphosphoric acid (ATP), the cellular currency of our entire body. These are just some of the manifestations of chronic stress and GAS.

During this presentation, we will go step by step into the various phases of GAS and its patho-physiological manifestations.

Chronic fatigue syndrome and fybromyalgia are probably two of the most demonstrable conditions of chronic stress. Emotional and viral stress are the two major precipitants in the pathophysiology of these illnesses.

If the condition is dealt with in the earliest stages with interventions both at energetic as well as biochemical levels, one can avoid and reverse lifelong debilitating consequences..

In the workshop, we will go into detailed case histories and treatment plans that were able to reverse manifestations of these illnesses and repair the injured organs.
